Tie Cleaning

It is easy to spill something on your tie, but silk ties aren't really meant to be cleaned. Dry cleaning can sometimes work and if you need to clean your tie here are our top tips:

1.  Don't let it dry, act immediately

2.  Don't use water

3.  Dab a small amount of stain remover onto the stain using a white paper towel

4.  Blot the stain with the paper towel

5.

Have the tie professionally dry-cleaned if you haven't gotten rid of the stain although this may damage the tie

Some men elect to throw their ties over their shoulders before eating, although it does help to stop your tie getting stained, it does make you look like a bit of a pratt.

Often the best thing to do is to be carefull around soup and spaghetti and buy new ties regularly to replace the stained and damaged ones and keep yourself looking smart and professional.
